Growing My Stir-Fry Garden

As I have already mentioned in a previous post, I have recently taken up gardening as a hobby.  I cannot help but point out how I am still amazed at how plants grow and change within a couple of hours.

I live right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city hub, I do not have the luxury of a real garden plot.  I just have concrete spaces for planters.  I have twelve outdoor planters, growing a variety of vegetables like broccoli, string beans and bitter melon.  They are not close to bearing vegetables but they have grown quite leafy and are crawling all over the place.  I am still waiting for the day when I can pick stir-fry ingredients from my pots.

I only have one indoor planter growing spearmint.  I do not want insects to take over my place that is why I limited the presence of green to a single rectangular trough with a natural insect repellent.  I read that spearmint can drive away most insects and the good smell is just bonus.  Sometimes I chew on the leaves I tear off when pruning the plant.  Yes, I am that antsy for my stir-fry veggies to grow.
